Dr. Verghese has years of program development experience as Program Director of the Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC), which he converted from an oncology fellowship program into a three-year dual certification training program. He has also developed clinics for the Dana Cancer Center, UTMC, and was instrumental in developing the business plan to implement a Cellular Therapy Program at UTMC. Dr. Verghese currently serves on the UTMC Institutional Cancer Care Committee and has been invited to speak nationally and internationally.
