Dr. Gerald Busch has made substantial contributions to addiction medicine through over three decades of clinical leadership, education, and scholarship. He is board certified in addiction psychiatry and addiction medicine and has served as medical director for multiple chemical dependency and dual-diagnosis programs.
Dr. Busch has led and developed addiction psychiatry training programs, authored peer-reviewed publications on substance use disorders, telehealth, and dual disorders, and presented nationally on assessment, treatment, and curriculum development. His work integrates public health, psychiatry, and education to advance evidence-based, accessible addiction care across diverse populations and systems.
