Dr. Scott serves on several Weill Cornell Pediatric Medical Education and Student Evaluation committees and is recipient of Weill Cornell’s 2024 Excellence in Medical Education: Pediatrics Clerkship award. Her interests include medical education research to improve patient outcomes by studying pediatrician assessment methods. Dr. Scott participated in developing a national pediatric telemedicine curriculum for residents, and her funded research is in developing a real-time telemedicine assessment tool for pediatric resident competency.
She completed her Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship at the New York-Presbyterian Columbia and Cornell University bi-campus program, earned her doctorate degree and Masters in Neuromusculoskeletal Sciences from the New York Institute of Technology – College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency at New York Medical College-Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital continuing as chief resident for an additional year and receiving several teaching and clinical awards, including a national award for her pediatric telemedicine research.
