Dr. Butler received her MD from the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. She continued her residency training in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County in California, and then completed a Pediatric fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and an additional Pediatric Critical Care fellowship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, CA.
Dr. Butler moved to Colorado in 2010 and served as Medical Director of the Pediatric ICU at The Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children before joining Pediatrix’s urgent care team. She truly believes it takes a village to care for children and families and considers her time caring for families a privilege and strives to provide medical care as if they were her own family. Dr. Butler loves her family, which includes her husband, two sons and dog, Bond, outdoor activities, biking and hiking.
