Dr. Norton received her medical degree from the University of South Alabama and completed her pediatric residency and Allergy Immunology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. She is the Founder and Director of the Pediatric Drug Allergy Clinic at Monroe Carrell Jr Children’s Hospital. She has been heavily involved in medical education and served as Associate Program Director of the Allergy Immunology fellowship at Vanderbilt University and Director of the allergy elective for the pediatric residency at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Norton was awarded for excellence in teaching in 2024, is supported by the CDC as a Subject Matter Expert in vaccine adverse events, and has contributed to National guidelines regarding the safe administration of the vaccination in adults and children. She is a member of the World Allergy Organization where she participates in international guidelines for drug hypersensitivity.
