“Here’s the challenge: this Nephrology board review features 25.5 hours of laser-focused lectures and 500+ Q Bank questions, but all that great content means nothing if you don’t get through it in time for the exam. So, The Pass Machine makes your prep easy. For example:
- Listen to audio lectures on the app as you commute to and from work
- Answer a few MCQs on your lunch break
- Watch video lectures as you work-out on the stair climber or exercise bike
- Download lectures to your phone ahead of a flight or when out of wi-fi or cellular range
We’re dedicated to helping you pass your boards and that’s why we offer you a better-than-money-back pass guarantee. We don’t succeed unless you succeed.”
Yours in board exam success,
Jack Krasuski, MD, Executive Director
Read What Your Colleagues Are Saying About This Course
"I passed with flying colors! My score was far above the mean, and I’m convinced your excellent lecture series and questions had a lot to do with it. In fact many of the scenarios your instructors talked about were tested almost verbatim, as were many of the test questions.
A totally worthwhile investment that I will repeat in a decade!"
N“Dr T” Tabatabai, MD, TX
“This is my second attempt in taking the nephrology MOC exam. I took it this spring 2016. Thanks to The Pass Machine course, I passes it. If I knew about this review course for my first attempt I am sure I would pass it. I heard about this course from another colleague who passed the fall exam. This course helped me by teaching complex concepts in a very simple and organized pattern. The features that I liked the most were the ACI-Base conferences, Hyperkalemia/Hyperkalemiathe RTA's, the Thrombotic Microangiopathies and the Glomerulonephritides. The conferences were really board oriented. I heard them all and took the practice exam questions. I definitely would recommend it to my colleagues even if they will not take the test because it helped me clarify so many concepts that I have never understood during my fellowship and during private practice years."
Enrique Rios, MD, Sabana Seca, Puerto Rico
“The Pass Machine gives special attention to topics and presents them in a way that is very much board focused. Would highly recommend it!”
Sujata Kale, MD, Cheshire, CT
"The best review course I have seen in 30 years. The most concise and relevant review I have seen, even better than the acp or asn."
Roderick Comunale, MD, La Jolla, CA
“I would not have passed the Nephrology Boards without your review. Thank you very much.”
Alejandro Morales, MD, Scottsdale, AZ
"Helped with focusing on types of questions."

This information is updated weekly. For the most current update, please visit the ABIM website.
Update September 9, 2020:
ABIM is offering additional test dates on 12/14/20 and 12/15/20 for physicians registered to take a subspecialty certification exam. Before heading to your appointment, please read more about what Pearson VUE is doing to ensure the safety of test takers.
Update July 10, 2020: Scheduled for an assessment?
ABIM is working with Pearson VUE to ensure your safety throughout your exam day. Learn more about what to expect at test centers by reading our updated FAQs.
To be admitted to the test center, Pearson VUE may ask if you live with or have had close contact with someone who has confirmed or suspected COVID-19. We recognize many physicians are on the front lines treating patients during the pandemic, and in doing so may have come in close contact with someone who has confirmed or suspected COVID-19. Rest assured that physicians (medical/healthcare professionals) who treat patients while both are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be admitted to the test center.
If you experience any issues being admitted to the test center on exam day, please call us at 1-800-441-ABIM (2246).
Update July 7, 2020: Update for IM Certification Exam Appointment Cancellations
Earlier today, some physicians received an automated email from ABIM reminding them to schedule their exam appointment. Our sincere apologies for any confusion that may have caused.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted our lives in many ways. Unfortunately, capacity has decreased at all Pearson VUE test centers to maintain safety. As such, some appointments to take the Internal Medicine Certification Examination have been canceled and must be rescheduled.
If this applies to you, you should also receive this email, which clarifies important questions around why your appointment has been canceled and what your next steps are. If your exam is still scheduled in your Physician Portal, you have not been impacted.
If you need help or have any questions, please contact us at 1-800-441-ABIM (2246), Mon. - Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET or at [email protected], and we’ll provide you with personalized assistance to walk through your options.
