Amy Zhou, MD is currently an assistant professor in the Division of Hematology in the Department of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. She grew up in Michigan and completed my undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and then medical school training at Wayne State University in Detroit. Following medical school, she completed my internal medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta and then did a hospitalist year at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Zhou came to Washington University in St. Louis for her fellowship training in Hematology Oncology in 2013 and then continued on as faculty with the Division of Hematology in 2016. She has always had a love for classical hematology, and she sees patients with a variety of benign and malignant hematologic disorders in my clinic. Her research focus is on novel therapies for patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms.
