Dr. Fimmel is an ad-hoc review for several different journals, including the American Journal of Gastroenterology, American Journal of Pathology and the Clincal Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is on the advisory board of the American Liver Foundation and on the Program Evaluation Committee for the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Dr. Fimmel’s clinical and research interests are in chronic liver disease and hepatocellular cancer. He has authored of over 60 peer-reviewed publications in various areas of his specialty.
