Daniel Kwon, MD

Dr. Kwon is an oncologist who cares for hospitalized patients with advanced cancer and patients with genitourinary malignancies. In the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UCSF, Dr. Kwon serves as Assistant Chief, Hospital-based Oncology as well as manages a panel of patients in the Genitourinary Medical Oncology group. He also serves on the UCSF Parnassus solid oncology consult service teaching fellows and rotating trainees. Dr. Kwon’s research interests focus on improving patient-centered outcomes, including patient decision-making support, survivorship, outcomes research, cognition, and biomarkers, for which he uses both qualitative and quantitative methods along with implementation science methods.
