Dhaval Desai, MD, MPH

Dr. Dhaval Desai is a neurologist and hospital medicine specialist caring for patients with neurological conditions and complex medical needs. His dual expertise allows him to provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing neurological symptoms while also managing their overall health during hospital stays. He completed his neurology residency at University of Louisville School of Medicine and fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Emory University. Additionally, he holds a Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Texas School of Public Health and has received outstanding teaching awards including the James Emerson Award (UT Houston 2013) and John Huff and Robert Hegstrom Teaching Awards (Virginia Mason, 2025).
