Dr. Elliot Goodman is a board-certified general surgeon and surgical educator with extensive experience in gastrointestinal, bariatric, and trauma surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cambridge, completed general surgery residency at Maimonides Medical Center, and pursued research and trauma fellowships at Columbia University and Coney Island Hospital. He also holds an MBA from Queen Mary University of London. Formerly a surgical leader at Montefiore and Mount Sinai, Dr. Goodman focuses on medical education, surgical leadership, clinical training, and innovative teaching technologies, including virtual reality. He continues to contribute to international medical education and academic program development.
