Dr. Kheir is currently an assistant professor of medicine with expertise in interventional pulmonary at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. He completed his pulmonary, critical care training as well as master in the clinical research and medical education scholar program at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. He then completed interventional pulmonary fellowship at the combined program of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital, two major teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Kheir’s research focuses on developing and testing minimally invasive procedures in interventional pulmonary, focusing on patient-relevant outcomes. He has been involved in multiple clinical guidelines, designed multiple medical trials, invited reviewer for multiple medical journals, and lead as well as co-authored over 120 manuscripts.
