Dr. Lyckholm has received more than 20 awards for her excellence in teaching including the Outstanding Teacher Award, as well as several years as Best Attending Physician at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Dr. Lyckholm is a reviewer for several scholarly journals and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Opioid Management. Dr. Lyckholm has also served as the Chair of the Interdisciplinary Pain Management Committee and Director of the Bioethics and Humanities Curriculum.
