In addition to providing comprehensive general pediatric and newborn care, Dr. Jones specializes in evaluating and consulting on cases involving suspected child maltreatment. She works closely with hospital teams to assess injuries and concerns related to child abuse and neglect. Dr. Jones is also dedicated to educating healthcare professionals—including attending physicians, residents, nurses, and external organizations—on child maltreatment recognition and prevention. Dr. Jones earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in 2000.
She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master’s in Children’s Law and Policy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Dr. Jones integrates her expertise into medical education, training medical students and residents on the intersection of pediatrics, public health, and child advocacy. Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Jones serves as an expert witness in child abuse and neglect cases, offering critical testimony in court proceedings.
