Maya Abdallah, MD

Dr. Abdallah is a quadruple board-certified physician hematologist, oncologist, and geriatrician practicing at Boston Medical Center. Her clinical expertise focuses on hematologic malignancies affecting older adults, and her research emphasizes integrating geriatric assessment tools into routine hematology practice to improve treatment decisions, supportive care, and outcomes.

Dr. Abdallah has authored more than twenty peer-reviewed publications and is recognized for her work in geriatric oncology, health equity, and implementation science. She is an Implementation Science Fellow at the Boston University Evans Center for the Implementation and Improvement of Sciences where she works to expand the adoption of evidence-based geriatric oncology practices in real-world and resource-limited settings.
