Originally from Sherborn, Massachusetts, Dr. Stout earned her undergraduate degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, a Master of Science from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and spent a dedicated research year in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Following her internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, she completed her dermatology residency at Northwestern, where she served as Chief Resident. During residency, Molly served in ABC News’ Medical Unit, writing articles, and contributing to stories for ABCNews.com as well as Good Morning America and World News Tonight. Dr. Stout has published and presented over a wide range of topics in dermatology and written textbook chapters on clinical research and hair disorders. Dr. Stout is passionate about patient advocacy and meets with members of Congress to support legislation to improve patient access to care and affordable medications.
