Dr. Dietrich completed her undergraduate and medical school degrees at Michigan State University, studying both in Lansing, MI and Flint, MI. She completed residency in Pediatrics (2017) and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases (2021) at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, with an additional year during that time as an NIH Global Health Fogarty Fellow. She remains as faculty at Tulane in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, where she works both as a clinician and in research. Her professional interests include seeing patients with complex infections in the hospital and clinic, and clinical-transactional research, including in global health, and clinical trials.
