Dr. Nathan is a three-time recipient of the Northwestern University Golden Apple Teaching Award for the Most Outstanding Educator of the Year. His work has been published in Obstetric Anesthesia: Principles and Practice 4th Edition and Essentials of Clinical Anesthesia, Anesthesia for Urologic Surgery. Dr. Nathan is also a freelance illustrator with an interest in scientific/medical illustration with contributions to several software, worldwide-web-based publications and audiovisual or other teaching materials.
