Dr. Dasgupta completed his internal medicine residency at Michigan State University, his Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship at Saint Lukes & Roosevelt Hospital, and his sleep medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital while working at VA Medical Center in Detroit. He received numerous awards including Resident of the Year, Fellow of the Year, and the Director’s Award for research two years in a row.
After his training, Dr. Dasgupta worked at Abington Hospital where he was presented with the Faculty Teacher of the Year award. He is quadruple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Dasgupta has authored and contributed to several books, including Medicine Morning Report: Beyond the Pearls, and can be seen on television shows such as “The Doctors” and “The Wellness Hour.”
