Dr. Reena Mehra is a physician-scientist and epidemiologist internationally recognized for research on sleep apnea and cardiopulmonary disease. Her scholarship spans population-based studies, translational science, and clinical trials focused on sleep-disordered breathing and cardiovascular outcomes, and she currently serves as Division Head of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
She completed fellowship training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by research fellowship training in sleep medicine neurobiology and epidemiology at Case Western Reserve University.
