Dr. Naaman is a board-certified internist and hypertension specialist. Her areas of expertise include women’s health and cancer survivorship. She directs a breast cancer survivorship clinic which addresses all aspects of late and long-term effects of cancer treatments including cardiometabolic health, bone disease, and menopause. Dr Naaman developed a CME-accredited Women’s Health curriculum based out of the University of Chicago, which provides training and support to community physicians using a risk-based approach to breast, bone, heart, and gynecological health for high-risk populations.
She serves on the advisory board of two NCI funded trials aimed at improving delivery of genetic services to high-risk childhood cancer survivors and increasing colorectal cancer screening rates among PCPs. Her research in cancer survivorship has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
