The key to passing the ABIM® Medical Oncology Board Exam is finding a board review that gets you 100% prepared while accommodating your busy schedule. Here’s what makes The Pass Machine the most convenient & comprehensive choice:
800+ Practice Questions
MASSIVE QBANK: The Pass Machine includes 800+ Medical Oncology practice questions! Each multiple-choice question (MCQs) carefully follows the American Board of Internal Medicine® board exam content outline, allowing you to test your readiness while advancing your command of the exam content.
REALISTIC TESTING: Your patients test you every day – but not in the same way the ABIM® Medical Oncology boards test you! You’ll be better-prepared because you’re answering MCQs in a format that’s just like the actual ABIM exam.
DEEPER LEARNING: Unlike other QBanks, The Pass Machine practice questions include detailed, referenced explanations. You’re not only testing your knowledge – you’re learning the “how” and “why” behind each question.
Extensive Video Lecture Library
30+ HOURS OF VIDEOS: The Pass Machine Medical Oncology board review course features a comprehensive library of short video lectures that are precisely aligned to the Medical Oncology exam blueprint, covering all exam topics.
BOARD-FOCUSED FACULTY: The Pass Machine features board-certified faculty experienced in teaching the entire scope of the Medical Oncology Certification and traditional Medical Oncology MOC exams. Their focused expertise means that every lecture is up to date, medically accurate and 100% board-relevant.
QUESTION-BASED LEARNING: This proven method works by pairing Medical Oncology board practice questions with related lectures. This study approach ensures that your review aligns with the exam.

“I’m in downtown Chicago to highlight the flexibility of The Pass Machine. We’ve optimized this course to be available anytime, anywhere — even offline. Now you can listen to audio lectures on the app as you commute to and from work, answer a few MCQs on your lunch break, or watch video lectures as you work-out on the stair climber or exercise bike. When you know you’ll be on call without Wi-Fi or cellular signal, download lectures to your phone ahead of time — great feature for flights as well! This flexibility is vital, because all the great content this course offers won’t do you much good if you don’t get through it in time for the board exam.
Triple Trust Guaranteed
Here at American Physician Institute we’re dedicated to your board success. That’s why we offer you a better-than-money-back pass guarantee. We don’t succeed unless you succeed.” Yours in board exam success, Jack Krasuski, MD, Executive Director [email protected]

“First of all I would like to thank you for arranging this course. It was very precise and extremely full of information. It is also very applicable to our daily practice following the new standard guidelines.”

“I completed all of the online lectures prior to this live course which greatly improved my experience with the live course compared to previous live courses. I think that the more I do the more I will retain and improve my likelihood of passing.”
Jack Saux, MD
“It’s a nice “comprehensive review” as any other CME, but I would rate it # 1 among others. In order to stand out as a “pass machine” tool you would need to saturate the content to high yield info in order to be focused on the best.”
“Faculty was well-prepared and experts in their field. Presentations were laser (curated?) toward board-related material.”
Robert Ellis, MD, Vancouver, WA
“Excellent course. Definitely helped me getting a great score. Highly recommend it.”
Jorge Leguizamo, MD, Atlanta, GA

Medical Oncology MOC Testimonials
“I enrolled in the American physician Institute course through something I got in the mail. When I saw a 97 percent pass rate, I thought that it would be silly not to enroll. This course allows you to focus your studying rather than be completely overwhelmed by the amount of material. This was so much better and easier than sitting through lectures for 8 hours through a George Washington or M.D. Anderson course. We all know that your attention span cannot hold for that long. A great thing about this course, is I could do it on weekends and for 15 min - 2 hour blocks, or even do it when I had patient cancellations. You can stream it through the Internet, and the website was never down. Not only was I able to easily pass the exam, I did learn a decent amount that was helpful for patient care. I did some studying outside of this course, through personal files I have written over the years, but this course gave me most of the information I needed to pass. None of the instructors had unintelligible accents, and they all focus on clinically relevant material. They do not go off on tangents about their personal research. And that really helps.”
Vinni Juneja, MD, San Juan, PR
“I obtained the course materials for self-study in September for the October exam last year, having found out about the course a few weeks earlier. I felt unprepared and a little panicked for the exam at that point, using only the ASCO SEP book and the relatively few questions in that text. I was able to access The Pass Machine materials/videos online, and using the written text in the binder, I was able to review all the topics in a relatively short time and concentrate on the areas I felt weaker in. The format allowed me to review the materials even over short periods of free time at work and I worked full-time until the test. The questions on the online tests were extremely helpful and written in a similar format to the Board questions. I went into the exam feeling confident as a result of my study with The Pass Machine materials and the results showed that not only did I pass the exam, but I was able to score in the highest percentile in more than half the topics. I am indebted to The Pass Machine course for helping me pass my recertification Oncology Boards.”
Vijay Kasturi, MD, Worcester, MA
“I'm happy to report that I passed my Medical Oncology MOC exam. As an academic medical oncologist, I specialize in the treatment of one cancer and so the prospect of reviewing for a test encompassing all solid tumors (with a healthy sprinkling of hematology) was daunting. However, your course was excellent and helped me review for the test in a relatively short period of time. I highly recommend your review course for anyone registered for a MOC exam, and it's the best money that I've spent in a long time.”
Jow Baar, MD, PhD, Avon, OH
“I felt this was an easy and convenient way to study. The program hit highlights. The course provided tests and questions. I was able to pass and I only used this program. I owe my success to this course!”
Pallavi Kumar, MD, Towson, MD
“Thank you for your great program. I thought the materials were very focused and clear. I also appreciated the question-focused approach, which is particularly relevant to the medical oncology recertification exam. Your method of communicating and frequent feedback was also very helpful. I ordered the program late, but was able to go through it intently. Great results! I would recommend this program without reservation to anyone who is taking the exam. Thanks again.”
Barryy Levinson, MD, South Orange, NJ
“It simply boosts confidence. The test questions are good exercise. I highly recommend it.”

The Pass Machine Medical Oncology Board Review – Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions about The Pass Machine and American Physician Institute
Is The Pass Machine different from other board reviews?
Yes, in three main ways:
1. The Pass Machine board review is the most comprehensive option. More than just a Question Bank of practice questions, each course includes in-depth lectures in a familiar classroom setting presented by expert faculty. This means you get a topic-by-topic review of exactly what’s on the board exam in much greater detail than what you can get from Qbank answer explanations.
2. Because the physician’s schedule is typically a hectic one, The Pass Machine is optimized for on-the-go review. Components such as the audio-only lecture option, iOS and Andriod app for mobile review, and offline access capability, and a fully-illustrated board-mapped study guide make The Pass Machine review easy to incorporate at any point your daily routine.
3. The Triple Trust Guarantee not only gives you a full tuition refund if you don’t pass the exam the first time after taking the course, but it also gives you an extra 10% AND allows you continued access until you pass, for free. This unprecedented guarantee serves to assure you of the confidence we have that The Pass Machine content is exceptional.
Who produces The Pass Machine Courses? Where do you get your faculty?
The Pass Machine board review courses are produced by American Physician Institute for Advanced Professional Studies, LLC (API). API conducts dozens of courses and trains thousands of physicians each year to pass their boards and stay up-to-date in their fields. Every single one of American Physician Institute‘s educational courses has full editorial independence, is free of pharmaceutical and industry sponsorship and is backed by an unbeatable guarantee. Because of its reputation for excellence, American Physician Institute is able to enlist many of the top faculty from the best universities, teaching hospitals and research facilities in the country to provide you with Category 1 CME educational activities.
Do you provide board review for other medical specialties?
Yes! In fact, we provide preparation for dozens of other specialty and subspecialty board exams. Check out www.AmericanPhysician.com for the full list.
Is it likely that my employer will cover my tuition?
Because all The Pass Machine courses are approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, it is likely that your tuition will be reimbursed. You may be surprised at how many residency and fellowship training programs, group practices, and other employers pay for or reimburse you for such Category 1 educational activities. After all, it’s in everyone’s best interests to have you board certified. It really pays to ask your training director, medical director or administrator if you are eligible because some training programs and employers do pay for board exam training. And, if you work for the Federal Government, American Physician Institute is a certified business in the CCR database and can accept government checks and credit cards.
Does The Pass Machine offer any free board review resources?

Board Exam Results and The Triple Trust Guarantee
Is The Pass Machine Medical Oncology review pass-guaranteed?
Yes, all full courses are pass-guaranteed, and backed by The Triple Trust Guarantee. At any time, you can view The Triple Trust Guarantee Terms & Conditions.
What does The Triple Trust Guarantee cover?
If you purchase an online course with “The Triple Trust Guarantee” and then do not pass your board exam, API will issue a 100% refund of your paid tuition *, plus an additional 10% payment. You’ll also continue to get online course access until you pass the exam, tuition-free. The guarantee expires in the event the exam for which this course is designed is no longer offered by the certifying board.
* Tuition is defined as the amount you paid for your base course, and does not include optional course add-ons, such as purchase of online access extensions, and/or the live course attendance option (where available). If any promotional items, such as gift cards, are included with your purchase, the value of that promotional item will be deducted from your tuition.
The Triple Trust Guarantee sounds too good to be true—is it for real?
Yes, it’s completely real. Rest assured, API has always honored its guarantees and always will. No other company does? The Triple Trust Guarantee is API’s way of demonstrating that it’s just as invested in your success as you are. After all, if you fail your board exam, API will pay a penalty. API will refund your course tuition in full, provide you with a bonus, and allow you continued access to the course tuition-free until you pass your exam for as long as the exam is offered by the certifying board. The guarantee ensures API doesn’t get paid for effort, only for passing results.
Does The Triple Trust Guarantee cover non-tuition course options and upgrades?
No. Course options and upgrades are non-tuition related. Therefore, these fees are not included in any guarantee-related refund payment made under the terms of The Triple Trust Guarantee.
What should I do if I don’t pass my board exam?
First, it’s important to remember that a non-passing result is not necessarily a reflection on your abilities as a physician. The way the ABIM tests you is not the same as the many ways you’re “tested” as a practicing physician. Check out this reassuring video from Dr. Jack - What To Do If You Fail Your Board Exam https://www.thepassmachine.com/video-what-to-do-fail-your-board-exam/
More to the point, American Physician Institute can work with you to help you get over this professional hurdle. Give us a call!
I didn’t pass my board exam. How do I activate my course guarantee?

To be eligible for the refund portion of the guarantee you must submit your documents within 45 days of the date of your exam fail notification. To notify American Physician and submit your documents, go to your course dashboard and click on the "Guarantee" tab. Complete the form and attach your exam notification and scores. You will receive an email confirmation of receipt and someone will contact you shortly.
